Nice build with good explanations. Not too sure about the Philosopher's Stone, but I don't play Sivir very often so what can I say.
Mostly, I just like my gold per 10 items. But I do find it works about on par with sivir. I play her lane pretty cautiously, and don't often need the extra health and damage. And furthermore, her Q damage is absurd, even without a dorans. I find I can farm more safely, and for longer with a philosopher's opening, than with a dorans opening, against most matchups. The health regen usually makes up for the 100 less health, and it's far better than the 3% life steal, this early in the game. And of course, the mana regen lets you spam and zone a little harder. But yes, when you break it down, the philosopher's stone is just a preference thing. Opening dorans or boots even, are both very viable starts.
Thanks! Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I didn't run across any hybrid sivir guides on mobafire -- at least among the top 10 guides. I used to be big on AD sivir, but i'm definitely liking this better at the moment. Thanks for the vote up :D
The reason I took the Seals of Replenishment is because I find Sivir really doesn't end up needing any more mana regeneration by end game. I'll give the Clarity Seals a shot though. Might mix them with dodge Seals or some such, as well.
You should definitely give the build a shot, if the mood strikes. The items were my baseline for writing the guide any how.
Thanks for the input, again!
Cheers!
When it comes to the guide, eh that's a different story. The only part that really kept my interest was the items portion. You gotta remember, a few key things about humans. Humans lose interest easily, so always be sure to include pictures of your own, maybe some humor, and color really. Other than that good job !
Keep working at it, you'll get there some day +1!
Cheers!
