So Ori is definitly my fav champ, not because shes OP (i agree shes a tad bit OP but i play in ELO hell so her OPness isnt nearly as effective as a Morde)

Anyway i agree she is OP but i have not been playing her because i felt the incoming nerf and wanted to wait till they balance the champ to go back to her. Her play style is perfect for me, i love casters i like to stay on the edge of battle and i like support champs, so she fits me perfectly. Im also really good laning with her and have her harass/last hitting down perfectly.

But im worried they just made her useless by reducing her range of Q, thats a HUGE hit its more then 10% of her range on Q that was reduced. Im hoping this will be the last Ori nerf so i can go back to playing her as long as she isnt completely useless now.

How do you guys feel about the nerf? I know everyone has been complaining about her recently but honestly she was so easily shut down to begin with if you played properly against her, or counter-picked. 1 CC or scilence and Ori is done, and now with the range reduction she has to be that much closer to harm

I think that put her in the right direction, but she's still as OP as before.

I think she's pretty balanced now. That range nerf HURT.

I haven't played since the update, but just by reading over the notes I too think it's a step in the right direction although she still might be too strong to be honest. She has to get a little closer now, but she can still generally do everything she did before.

I'll have to play her and play against her a few times to really make a judgment call though. Also saying 1 CC or Silence and she's done is absurd, if that was the case so many champions would easily be able to shut her down that she'd be complete trash. She's considered or was considered OP for a reason, and that reason is very few champions could shut her down.

Believe.

From a general perspective...

Orianna is only as good as her Summoner.
If you're in low-ELO, she'll do poorly. If you're in high-elo, you'll do fantastic.

Again, I've generalized for time's sake.

The nerf was necessary, and will make it a lot easier to handle her in lane.

still have to see the nerfs in game, but i find the range reduction to be a good call,

when i play against her it's usually in mid, and tho theoretically veigar is a good counter (as veigar counters any AP char well) it's usually the range of her Q that made her have the edge in early/mid.

the reduction may turn the tide, she might even be considered an easy target for me now, we'll see about that...

i think she is an awesome char and i really like her skill mechanics (having her in my or the opposing team), hope she's not 'useless' now.

No, Veigar doesn't counter ****. He's bad (at least in the lane he's ****).
Kassadin EATS squishy casters. That includes Veigar.

usually these games end up with the kassadin having 15-3 around the 30 minute mark and 20-18 when the game ends though

and apart from the early game, veigar is a great lane support to have, thanks to the stun.

still think him to be too weak for ranked games. but this is just a noobs view on the game, i am sure you are much more experienced...

but this thread isnt about veigar <3

The range nerf is going to tone her down a lot.
