I'd easily believe he's swapped the AS quints for move speed. I think a lot of people are doing that, and not just for Udyr. Move speed quints are great.

AS quints aren't bad though, just different. It's not all about the time on the clock after your first clear.

If my success with Mallet is irrelevant, then your success with TF is irrelevant, as is any other personal experience anyone on this forum has had with any item.

I'm of the opinion that Warmogg's, TF, and Mallet all have very different functions, and to compare them as items isn't doing yourself any favors. Warmogg's can't stick you to an enemy. Mallet can't boost your damage or HP as much. Trinity Force can't give you the same sticking power or survivability. They are all different and should be considered as such, and have their places respectively game by game, build by build.

Warmogg's TF is currently flavor of the month build combo though, and is proven to be effective.

---

Course, works nice ^^ Will save you whatever amount of HP your turtle shield has to offer at that moment.

It would deal damage but I think you may have a lack of survivability. I don't know, never tried it. Not sure if Turtle would be enough survivability as a stand alone or not @_@

Interesting idea. Would be a lot of vamp on your DoT and steal on your attacks.

It leaves 2 items for defensive purposes. Like fon or qss for mr and a sunfire or a aegis something like that.

And yes hex tech is fun with udyr. Makes perfect sense to me to double dip with aa's and tiger plus Phoenix stance.

Or Warmog's as one defensive item^^.

Trinity Force+ Warmog's Armor+ Atma's Impaler is good on nearly any off-tank.

For Udyr, I just go Wriggle's > Triforce then bulk.

Triforce is INCREDIBLE on him.

Yeah. And wriggles is a solid early mid game item.
