So, you're tanky as **** every 5 seconds or so because of the shield...
And... your AoE damage in teamfights is amazing.
IDK. It seems like it would work if you really knew your way around Udyr but, it's not competitive. I think I'd do it on an off-day.

If you wanted AP and hp, then buy RoA, if you want a slow then buy mallet, all of udyr's damage is AA.

Rylais is funny cuz they never get away from you. Not a fan of RoA on udyr. I would rather get abyssal if i was looking for an offtank ap item.

Actually most of his damage is from the procs off of

which deal magic damage. His AAs are merely the vehicle with which he delievers his dealy power.
