On Alistar if you're 1v1, you'll kill almost anything in two to three hits with TF / PD / I.E.

The damage is just ridiculous while your ult is on and remains high after the fact. The only issue is going splat when the ult runs off, at which point you might consider getting a GA and either a Frozen mallet or a life steal item next.

Is there something I'm missing in synergy with those items and his ult? I thought it just cleansed and then reduced dmg taken for a short time. Are you saying that, relatively speaking, his damage goes up because their damage goes down?

^^ It's some ridiculous amount of AD for what it does.
Pretty sure it scales with levels in it too.
