I just watched the 2 episodes of the new season. It wasn't all that good, although the first 2 of the first season weren't that good in my opinion either.
What mades the other episodes good were the mental breakdowns and psychological meltdowns.
When Fluttershy tolerated all of Discord's mocking - I thought something cool would happen, like he's rage and explode and end the game and start another game somewhere else.
But instead, it turned out he could just force the anti-harmony change on her.
Up to then, I thought he had to actually provoke them. Which was more fun.
I also really loved the moment when we found out Rarity named her diamond "Tom." I laughed my heart out. XD
Also, did anyone else get the Star Wars reference? - I didn't.
