I think it is lacking defensive items in the beginning but the phantom dancers and sanguine are useful, i surprising killed a gangplank and vayne :P

i dont think he really needs sanguine blade(w/e its called)

i think it should be replaced by malady or nashers tooth --they give ap+attack speed and nasher gives cdr

(taric is kinda like sion but sion is better at dealing out damage thats why i i recommend those item cuz it gives some extra points into healing)

Well if it doesn't work for you then I guess it just doesn't :(

I can see where you are going with how he's a bit squishy, because I left off a health item. He does have 140 armor and 136 magic resistance and 2.1k health, which is not too shabby but the health is a bit on the low side. I guess the last phantom dancer can be replaced with a frozen mallet for more health, but you lose a sizable chunk of attack speed, crit chance (only 55%) and movement speed. I'll have to try that out a few times to see if it's a viable sidegrade.

But could you clarify the not being able to deal enough damage? Radiance basically functions as a 3rd AD item (+70 AD) and the 2 phantom dancers put you at 85% crit chance. Even an AD carry generally does not build 2 phantom dancers and 3 AD items because they would be too squishy. I specifically chose this item build path because I figured it would give Taric enough attack speed to cooldown Imbue and enough damage output to be a constant threat without leaving him with poor armor and magic resistance.

Thanks for the feedback!

I've used this build a few times and it's just not as good as other Taric builds. Way too squishy without being able to put out much dmg. Even trying to build some MR or armor early, just doesn't help. But that could just be me and the way I play him.
