Verdict: A good Magic Penetration heavy guide to Veigar. EDIT: Guide has been slightly improved, but mostly for the worst. Perhaps the guide is actually "broken" at the moment, as everything is centred and not at all like it used to be.
Possible Improvements: The chapter order of this guide is all over the place and makes reading the guide a challenge. Aesthetics could be worked on and some images added to break up the text, but otherwise this is a nice and well-written guide to the tiny master of evil :) EDIT: Guide needs a serious format rework. It looks terrible at the moment. I don't know if anything else has been changed, as the centring throws everything out of whack.

Why not start with Doran's Ring? Because you need the increased mana pool Saphire Crystal provide. Plus, since you are Veigar, you will probably be harassed a lot. That's where the 2 [[Health Potion] comes in."
No offense, but give your guide a quick read at least once before making me read it an pick up errors like this :(

Umm, how would you get 650 AP from those items? You must do like 200 last hits with your Q??
In a 45 min game ( That's my average game time), you should have over 200 last hit with
I believe that they are worth it, especially by lvl 9, when Veigar starts being agressive. It might just be me ( I just tried them), but I feel like I do less damage without those ^^'
The reason why I get saphire crystal first is to get catalyst protector faster. You can star with Doran's ring for the extra mana regen, or you can start with a meki pendant, build catalyst, then boots and fiendish codex. I'll have to try that start up

The organisation of my chapter was all ****ed uup because I didn't do my guide in the right order. I was doing a champter I felt like doing, then didn't touch my guide for a week, came back and did another chapter, and again and again ^^'
I love me a good Veigar guide, and you sir have delivered. Never thought of FH, but it actually makes sense and helps stop that freaking Vayne or Tryndamire from taking you down no prob. This might actually be a weird question, but have you ever considered a hybrid Veigar? I'm not trolling, I'm dead serious. Hextech, Manamune, Trinity, RoA, FH or Banshee's, and maybe Rabadon's if fed? Just throwing it out there to see what you think. :)
Thank you for the comment/vote. To answer your question, yes. It's funny, but not that awesome. A bit like AD ryze. AD-AP Veigar works, but there are a lot of better hybrid champ than him. I had Manamune, Trinity, Extech gunblade, Guinsoo's rage blade, Bloodthirster and Frozen Mallet. Heres a tip, if you ever wanna try hybrid Veigar, do it when you are in a premade with some friends. It reduce the chance of you getting reported for trolling ^^'
Rabadon is a good item, but you need to survive the fight. Plus, with this build, I usually have around 650 AP by late game, wich is far more than enough. In the end, it's all a matter of preference. IMO, surviving > damage

1) Glyphs of Insight are not worth it. Better off with Ability Power, Magic Resist per level, or CDR. Same for Quints - you'd want Fortitude on Veigar, or AP.
2) Your build has a lot of survivability, which is good. Don't know about the Sapphire Crystal start because he needs mana regen, not flat mana base.
3) Do you need an Abbreviations section? :)
4) I like your skills description, it's very in-depth, but I don't like the way it's set up. Possibly add some nice coding in there?
5) Not sure if your pros/cons section is deliberately like that, or if you've forgotten to add the list tags. I'd also move this straight under the introduction.
6) Use BBCoding to display your mastery tree.
7) Your runes section looks odd... and the text is centred, coding error?
8) Did you read my guide about making a guide? Please organise your chapters in a better order.
