Summary

Flash: CD nerf, Range Nerf

Clairvoyance: CD nerf, Duration Nerf

Rally, Fortify: Removed from the game

Promote: Brought back, but can only be used on cannon minions

Surge: New spell, provides a champion with an aura to increase team stats. (Replacement for Rally)

Heal: Buffed for late game scaling

Cleanse: Buffed, now removes summoner spells Ignite & Exhaust


^^Mundo/Swain really have a big incentive to take cleanse now

I don't think this will actually make anything change unless the numbers are huge.

And if they think nerfing Flash and CV will cause more aggressive play, well, that's the exact opposite of what will happen.

Yeah, Flash really existed mostly for the aggressiveness that you could utilize it for. I guess they just don't like that everyone uses flash. It's a reasonable issue; anytime something is used by the vast majority of the community, there's a problem.

CV nerf was kinda expected. It'll still be taken every damn game, but I really think that the mastery was what needed to be nerfed. That mastery is just too good, lol.

The rest is okay. I'm not going to miss rally, except in my troll games. Shaco with rally is pro. XD

In my opinion Flash and Clairvoyance deserved to be nerfed, but both range/duration and cooldown. Are they ******ed? Pick one or other, not both. About removal of Rally and Fortify, I don't really care. Promote will be new troll spell, so if someone wants to make a point, that he is trolling, Promote + Revive is the way. No special opinion about Surge, gotta see it ingame and Cleanse buff is deserved. Buffing heal into late game will just make noobs pick Heal and be useless instead of taking Exhaust or something and help the team.

i hope there comes new masteries to at least rework the new summoner spells.

for example, surge sounds like a support buff, therefore it should be in the utility tree, and not offensive tree. (as what support will take a bunch of points in offensive?)

other than that i have no real idea.

I really don't know what to think about this.

Flash and cv nerfs aren't surprising when thinking about the need for them in every game, and they're basically restoring a tiny bit of the uses for cleanse (it's still way less useful then before the nerf).

Surge might be a bit useful, since it seems to be a taric ult on a longer cd, however this fully depends on the numbers.

A buff to heal might make the difference, however the question would be who'd carry it? Since it would have to take a place of either (flash/ghost) or (exhaust/ignite), and the support already carries a cv.
