Really like the flat vs sacaling runes table, very useful for any champion
Where, aside from the part about Tear, do you actually do any of this though?
As far as I'm concerned, the section about AD items is as useful as having a section about why you shouldn't take Smite, and just makes the guide look longer.
I don't doubt that you put time and effort and thought into making this, I just doubt how truly useful some of it is.
The Mastery, Rune, and Skill Order section... at the beginning of the guide. Not sure if you read that. And also random parts of the guide like items discussion and item build order.
I have a lot of people asking me about what I think about AD Sona, and AD Sona is more played than a Sona with Smite. So yes, I feel it's necessary I address my opinions. It's like knowing you're supposed to something, but don't know why. Or it's like knowing a formula without learning its derivation. Basically what it comes down to is I want people to say "Oh, I see. That actually makes a lot of sense." So I'm not going to delete the "useless" part of the guide and just leave the bare minimum with very little explanations.
I still feel math is required to compare situations. Even if the situations don't always turn out the way you want. For example: "The math shows that XXX would be more useful. But keep in mind in the situation of YYY, ZZZ would be more useful instead." I try to include all the possibilities. Sorry if you don't like this, but that's how I roll.

FYI Halipupu is like 1200 ELO on EU with 200 normal wins and thinks Mejai's and Archangel's are the best items for a support. Don't bother making long replies to that clown. ;/
I've seen the guide before on Solo Mid and I'm not a huge fan. You get into details in places where it doesn't matter. There's a lot of math in this guide which you use to justify your choices, but that math is way irrelevant from play style and actual guidance.
I'm not petty enough to downvote; I'm just letting you know my opinion. After all, your build isn't ******ed unlike 90% of the builds on this site.
I've never said I think Mejai's is the best item, lol? I do like Archangel, but I like Chalice of harmony as well and play with both.
Why the flame? What have I done to you for you to flame me? And just so you know, I'm 1400 with 390 wins on Normal, because I don't play 24/7 and play only like 1-2 games each day if I even play each day. I have a life, I don't need to be playing all day long.
Also I didn't argue with the author, I just stated what I like on his guide, I don't see how complimenting him is arguing? Also I think people like to answer questions if there is something people would like to know about their guide.
I'm sorry that you feel parts of my guide is lengthy and unnecessary. When making guides, I like to include all the possibilities (or as much as I can). For example... Why this and not that? What's better between this and that? What about in this situation? These are the kinds of questions I ask myself when making a guide. I really want to avoid people asking "But what about XYZ? I thought that item was good on Sona?"

Thanks for reading and letting me know.

@Halipupu:
I look at CDR in early/mid game as a way to burst all your spells in rapid succession, or a way to continuously spam one spell quickly. In fact, that's exactly what it is. Lol. But can you do this effectively pre-Lv6 or pre-Chalice of Harmony, even? And is it even necessary?
I don't see myself facerolling all my spells too early in the game. And the only spell I would spam in quick succession is
Now the reason why I chose Mana Regen runes is this. Even though her Mana Regen is good enough during early/mid game, you will still run out of mana. What good is CDR if you can't cast your spells. One might say to play conservatively with your mana pool, but that just means you won't harass with your
As for Scaling vs Flat, I have a section in the Rune Discussion chapter. But the short version is I'm considering changing the Seals to flat when I come back to the States and give it some testing.
Thanks for reading, and good luck =)
Also I like how you compare
Also, you mention that usually you get 7000-8000 coins per game as a support, but I tend to have lots of games where I got 10-12k coins at the end due to getting a hellish amount of assists and maybe couple of kills (not from intentional stealing) with only 10-20 cs score. In those games I'd prefer to build ARchangel's Staff for a better facerolling without missing a crucial item spot.
This is gonna sound boring, but I'll keep on the list why I like this build: I like how you compare Mercury's Treads+Kindlegem vs CDR boots+ Eleisa's Miracle. Also it's nice that you get
I have to ask one thing, why you pick mana regen glyphs? Wouldn't CDR glyphs be better early game since you do get enough mana regen from items? Also, why scaling, why not flat mana regen runes since she has flat mana costs on her skills? Late game you'll have enough regen from items.
Anyways, great formatting and great information on your guide :) +1
Good job! :)
