I've thought about starting up a review thread. There are already a bunch of them, and it feels like I'm stealing a spotlight. ^^;;

And well, if people ask for your opinion and find out afterwards that they actually don't like what you have to say or that they don't agree with you, then that's their problem. As long as you can give them constructive criticism I can't see how you could possibly go wrong with this tbh, go for it :)

Think of a few standard aspects that you'll look at when reviewing a guide and just go by them 1 by 1. For instance, GMD and I judge on viability, grammar/spelling, visual appearance and the amount of depth, which is why I divide all of my comments in those categories (Example).
Opening a review thread can never be a bad thing imo. You just have to make sure that you have time for it, especially if you want to add some sort of 'verdict' on every guide in your own thread/guide.
If it gets too busy, simply close your shop like we did :P
I am just curious what comes after Distinguished. Achieved that long time ago (as 1st ha!) and Matt doesnt want to tell me. I thought about the 500 mark but jhoijhoi got 500+ and she is Distinguished still :/

The gaps are too big IMO 500 +rep and still distinguished is not a good thing, as the forum here is not as big as other forums. You might want to lower the bar a bit and show us what we can achieve by showing what ranks there are and how to get them
