For me standard build:
- Boots/2 health pots
- B. F. Sword
- Vampiric Scepter
- B. F. Sword
- Phantom Dancer
- Infinity Edge
- The Bloodthirster
- Phantom Dancer/Banshee's Veil
- Banshee's Veil/Phantom Dancer
- Sell boots for Black Cleaver/Last Whisper
But I can go more tanky as well. And the order of items might swap, depending on the game.

I'd also add to the above the Hexdrinker and Wit's end if the enemy team has too much AP. These items are situational, but work like a charm when the enemy team has too many casters. Hexdrinker can also be bought if you are against Karthus, it counters his ultimate quite well.
Those items are prty garbage actually :P

The first one gives you a lot of of attack speed (which synergizes with Vayne's W extremely well), MR and makes your autoattacks deal magical damage. The other one gives you damage + MR and makes you more durable against magical burst damage.
Well, I guess it's more important to stack those Bloodthirstiers...
