Come hang out when I'm streaming! http://www.twitch.tv/dufftime
1. People hear about Rumble nerfs.
2. Rumble becomes underplayed.
3. The few people who play Rumble have no idea what they're doing because they never see other people play him.
4. Everyone sees bad Rumble players and assumes he's bad.
This happens with certain champions every once in a while. I'd argue that Ryze underwent a similar process. He was quite viable for a long time, but few people actually played him.

Rumble is amazing
I rarely lose a lane as Rumble and the problem Babit is if you dive him with his Flamethrower on CD he just uses his Sheild and Harpoons to either keep you back or keep you in place for the second round of his Flamethrower
I played Rumble close to release and called him OP
Everyone told me I was an idiot
He was called OP and nerfed
I played Rumble again later then bought him stating he was still OP in the lane and still awesome
Everyone told me I was an idiot
...
I'll wait ;)

I fell on Rumble, whom I didn't play since he came out ( A robot with a flamethrower = instabuy) In other word, I played him for a week when he came out, never played him after, dunno why.
So here I am, stuck with Rumble in a ranked. Suprisingly I kicked *** and carried my team to victory. I presumed it was luck, so I go in a normal since I had a lot of fun playing Rumble. Again, I kicked *** and carried my team to victory. So I keep playing rumble for 5 games or so, each them I carried like hell.
After all those games playing Rumble, I realized how powerful he was.
So, my question is, why is he underated so much? People dodge when I pick rumble in a ranked game XD
