Just think Luther, if they weren't busy watching streams, they could be getting of their ***es to fix your ping and LoL problems.

Do you understand how companies work?

Completely different case Luther, completely different case.

Should a waitress still serve you after her job is done?

Should a stripper still strip for money after her work is done?

Police have full reign of their powers whether they are offduty or not although while offduty they have no obligation to perform as they would while onduty. Riot employee's do not have that and probably never will, because most companies don't want to have their people claiming extra pay for something they didn't do.

If they aren't at work, they definitely aren't responsible for anything to do with LoL.

EDIT:

Sure do, Tem :/

And now community confesses - how often do you use tribunal? I loled today because the link on EUNE page was redirecting to NA tribunal. I wonder for how long it has been that way.

So you understand that companies have departments, and not every department is actively working on something at any given time.

And thusly, some employee's are just sitting on their butt, and have free time to do things other than work.

****, if i was Marc Merrill, i would pay people to listen to a pro player talk about the game.

I'd call it research.

Even though they are not at work, what says they can not tell their bosses what they saw and heard? Then bosses take action? Np gg!

This is an extremely dumb thing to say, particularly the last part.

Policies differ between companies and there is no universal set of rules for how employees must act within their companies; an example of this would be Blizzard Entertainment where it is as you described - if a staff member sees suspicious behaviour while playing on a player character it must be reported through the in-game system that other players use, there are no shortcuts. This is unlike many of the groups that run their own game servers where a staff member logged on to a player account will often take action via their staff account should they notice somebody in game doing something suspicious, or will report it straight to another member of staff rather than through the typical report methods in place.

Additionally, suggesting that all employees should be working to fix problems you may have all of the time is dumb. Not only do members of staff do different jobs within a company (example: which of your problems is Riot's cleaning staff going to solve) but also running your staff on crunch time all of their working hours is simply going to exhaust them and promote a negative work attitude. People need breaks, and people need to be given the chance to relax and breathe. Not giving your staff the ability to do that is a surefire way of getting your employees out of the company ASAP and of producing half-***ed work simply because they are under so much pressure to get it finished that they have no time to focus on the quality of their results.
