Sure do, Tem :/

So you understand that companies have departments, and not every department is actively working on something at any given time.

And thusly, some employee's are just sitting on their butt, and have free time to do things other than work.

****, if i was Marc Merrill, i would pay people to listen to a pro player talk about the game.

I'd call it research.
Tri lane for life.

Even though they are not at work, what says they can not tell their bosses what they saw and heard? Then bosses take action? Np gg!

If they were not at work, then it should have stopped right there. They have no authority to do anything with Riot while they are not at work or doing overtime. I'm also pretty sure Riot wouldn't allow anyone to access their stuff outside of their specific placements anyways.

Just think Luther, if they weren't busy watching streams, they could be getting of their ***es to fix your ping and LoL problems.

This is an extremely dumb thing to say, particularly the last part.

Policies differ between companies and there is no universal set of rules for how employees must act within their companies; an example of this would be Blizzard Entertainment where it is as you described - if a staff member sees suspicious behaviour while playing on a player character it must be reported through the in-game system that other players use, there are no shortcuts. This is unlike many of the groups that run their own game servers where a staff member logged on to a player account will often take action via their staff account should they notice somebody in game doing something suspicious, or will report it straight to another member of staff rather than through the typical report methods in place.

Additionally, suggesting that all employees should be working to fix problems you may have all of the time is dumb. Not only do members of staff do different jobs within a company (example: which of your problems is Riot's cleaning staff going to solve) but also running your staff on crunch time all of their working hours is simply going to exhaust them and promote a negative work attitude. People need breaks, and people need to be given the chance to relax and breathe. Not giving your staff the ability to do that is a surefire way of getting your employees out of the company ASAP and of producing half-***ed work simply because they are under so much pressure to get it finished that they have no time to focus on the quality of their results.

Hey everyone,

I’ve seen a lot of good points made in this thread and I just wanted to jump in with thoughts on this matter from a Riot Games perspective. We’re not treating streamers or pro-players any differently than the rest of the community. We have no desire to be the internet police, but we do expect our players to maintain a certain level of respect higher than your average internet troll. It’s why we’ve gone to great lengths to create the Summoner’s Code, which serves to outline acceptable player behavior while playing League of Legends.

We don’t actively monitor streams but we’re in touch with what our community is saying and when our players write to player support or post on the forums alerting us about bad behavior in a stream, we’ll investigate and take action if needed.

An interesting fact to point out is that more than 90% of all disciplinary actions taken against players in League of Legends are performed through the Tribunal and LeaverBuster systems; suffice to say that we’re happy with the results to date. That said, this doesn’t means we won’t take action on bad behavior observed first hand. For example, it’s no secret that Riot Games employees play League of Legends quite regularly. It’s not uncommon for us to run into a player who thinks they’re above the Summoner’s Code. These players get a rude awakening when the game ends and they find their account suspended.

Ultimately it won’t matter who you are in our community, we expect everyone to treat others with respect and common decency. Whether you’re reported in the Tribunal or caught in the act by a Rioter matters little. If you’re acting outside of the Summoner’s Code and ruining the experience for other players: we’re going to remove you from the experience.

^ The only thing I'd have to disagree with is the credibility that you're actually tamat, but well said nonetheless. :V
