I like everything but the text. Perhaps you should try sitting it above his left shoulder, horizontally.
I really like it, love me some Fairy tail. Although I am not so sure about the text, perhaps try doing what Jhoijhoi suggested, or use another font.

I see a lil depth and blending, so its not terrible, its nice looking, I would say you mostly need to work on your text. I got a tut that might help in my comment. But gj, you getting better
