Dont trust the top rated guides always

A bunch of bitching about formatting in the comment section for a guide that takes 5 minutes to read anyways. If anyone were actually serious about learning to play Corki they wouldn't be skimming for pretty art anyways, they'd be hanging on every word from a pro player with tournament experience.[/quote]

The problem is that you have lots of members who flow through, most of them probably not even level 30, who vote on these guides once or twice, maybe lurk in the forums silently, maybe come and go whenever they need a build, etc. Barely active, non-aware players who are not a "Part" or the Moba community either, just using MobaFire for builds (Which is fine, nothing wrong with that.) Many of these members will downvote a guide like z3rg3's, because they, (A pre level 30 experience lacking player who probably barely has a single rune page completed and can't even go all the way down a mastery tree. A player who in 250 games assumes they understand how to play League, when the reality is at 600 WINS [AKA more than 1,000 games] you will just cracking the tip of the iceburg that is League.) assume their opinion is valid. And, realistically it is. I don't believe it is clearly defined what these guides are supposed to be. And that's fine, but because of this, the one thing that the top rated guides will not necessarily be, are the best guides, unfortunately :P It bothered me when I began here, but I'm comfortable with it now. *Shrug* It is what it is, nobody is going to die because the top rated guide isn't the best one we have to offer.[/quote]

However that doesn't mean that you can't get something from a guide written by a player who doesn't roam that bracket. Sure it sucks that guides get inflated stats but even if it sucks or if it's outdated it might have some useful information in there. There are good players that don't grind to high elo.
