Aesthetic Mordekaiser! U Mirin Brah?

If FoN is your only tank item, it's even worse.
FoN scales with how tanky you are, and it's only half decent if you're going to build 4 more tank items.
I'm just saying that FoN delays EVERYTHING that Mordekaiser needs too much to build it that early.
If you're going to build FoN it has to be after your other 5 items as a reaction to too much magic health% damage or something. (Which you should be strong against, because of your shield and Spell Vamp anyways.)
Well I always follow up with atleast 1 health item after the corebuild. And the percental health regen ain't the only health regen on FoN, it has 40+ health regen also, which has a huge impact on your sustain during the laning phase and early mid game. You can't only rely on your spellvamp as your source to sustain..
And you totally missed my point. The main reason why I buy FoN is because of the movement speed. And a abyssal scepter does not have that movement speed.
How is buying 1 defensive item making him a fulltank?

For FoN to be an effective "defensive item" you need to either have an insanely large amount of health, have a high synergy with Magic Resist over other stats, or you have to be a character that can get away with building FULL tank like Nasus or Rammus.
Mordekaiser doesn't get much from FoN, because spell vamp keeps his life at 100% outside of team fights, and he doesn't have enough health for the passive to be effective in team fights.
Frankly, I would replace it directly with Abyssal Scepter.
Mordekaiser is an AP champion, you really shouldn't build him full tank unless you are atleast going to get some cooldown reduction, and GOOD tank items.
Force of Nature is the worst defensive item in the game I would venture to say.

Health Regen is useless, it's a far inferior item to QSS, Abyssal Scepter, OR Banshee's Veil.
