I started using this build and I have had great success. The early gold flow with the heart/stone combo is great for Alistar since you don't want to be the one last hitting champs so that your team mates have a stronger laning phase. What I love about him is how only grabbing assists don't screw with your game. Other gank reliant junglers I tend to fall really behind whenever I don't get those last hits on champs, so its less stressful. Doesn't take long for you find yourself with awesome cooldown reduction to keep his CC going in team fights. Though on paper I agree with Guardian Angel as a final item, I tend to have success with Warmogs. I don't usually like Warmogs, but with all of that armor you've already build up in addition to your ult, I've tanked so much damage when it really counted. My only complaint about your guide is that I feel it's too short. But very nice job.

Edit: No, that was stupid of me. Tested it more. GA is much better for you.

I checked this out, and I don't know what problems you guys got, I like it and it works for me, though I used his item guide just as a rough guideline .. xP

The rune choice is really bad. Magic pen marks in the jungle do nothing. Greater Mark of Attack Speed do much more for jungle speed which means more ganks.

Itemization is terrible as well. You are going two separate ways which is a terrible idea.

You boots make no sense, if you want to go fast, take mob boots, otherwise mercs or a tabi are better.

You build tank and AP items, choosing one would make a stronger build. You build Lich Bane but have no AP to back it up. You build DFG but have nothing to back it up.

Improve your other guides before you go out an be an *** to other people talking like you know anything.

Some more things i noticed after reading though a second time.

Maxing pulv is stupid, Heal is better to max, if you want damage in a gank level headbutt, but alistar is not a damage jungler, Why are you trying to make him one.

Still can't get over how arrogant and imposing your posts are.

You are using too many slots with small items early that you have to wait long periods of time before upgrading an item when mid game comes.

Don't get Boots of Swiftness. If you want more speed, use Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed. They almost make up the difference all by themselves and give their bonus at level one. Swiftness boots are simply terrible on pretty much all champions.

Mobility Boots is another option if you want an alternative to CDR boots.

I don't really like Mobility Boots, their passive is lost once you cast a spell, and then you're as fast as everyone else or maybe slower, with Boots of Swiftness you are not as fast as with Mobility Boots, but your movementspeed doesn't get lower when you cast a spell or get attacked.

Once again, personal preference, feel free to change them to Mobility Boots in your build ;)

hmmm Lich bane and DFG grasp seem a little silly on a tank.

Sorry for my late reply!

Well, the main item build on the top of the page is just a rough overview of my personal preference. The item section has a lot more items that are good or even better, depending on your playstyle, enemy team, etc. ;)

Nice. Been wanting to try ali in jungle for a while and that video really justifies it.
