Spellvamp quints, worth it?

They give 6% Spellvamp, in lane phase, thats alot of sustain against sustained dmg casters, whats your thought bout it?Getting points in Utility for the Spellvamp on a offense AP Caster is a waste, thats what i think, but with it it would alrdy bee 9% so a tenth of your dmg as sustain...

Someone like Ryze can benefit from it as he doesn't really need to go deep in the offensive tree, and has no natural sustain (apart from hes ult which is medicore).

If you feel the need to win the lanning phase I'd say yes. End game you're only hurting yourself with them on.

not worth the IP in my book....Unless you are SPECIFICALLY counter building someone, I really don't think 6% spellvamp is worth it...

I use spellvamp quints on Mordekaiser and Kennen, I start with 9% spellvamp at lvl 1, and after first teleport to base I'll end up with 24% Spellvamp, if i buy hextech revolver.

Tbh it's a diffrent (read: freeeeeekin awesome!) type of laning. Imo they are the best choice for casters who can spam skills during the laning phase.. I bet they would be awesome on Rumble to.

Pretty much ^
Only two I can think of that work with it are Kennen and Morde.

Kennen cuz Kennen doesn't need the early damage.
Morde cuz it solves his spam problem early game.
