As you may have noticed, the main menu bar has had a rather drastic facelift :) We've seen this style of menu around for a while now and always wanted to do it, but knew it would be a beast to get right. We decided it was time to finally conquer it, and conquer it we have!!
The boring old one-size-fits-all drop downs have been replaced with full HTML blocks which allows us to do a lot of interesting things. We hope you guys like the new menus as much as we do, they go much further in introducing new users to the breadth of content on the site and provide a lot more real estate to include convenient links and updates for our regulars.
Give it a spin and let us know what you think!! There were some technical challenges to get this working right, so if you have any issues with it please reply here and include your browser and OS details. I've tested it in the latest versions of FF, Chrome and IE and had no issues so hopefully you don't either. Also, if you have any ideas for things to add to the new menus we are all ears!
More to come soon, enjoy!!

Yeah it's gonna take some getting used to, for me as well :) After you've spent some time with it, if you find anything starts to frustrate you tell us here and we can improve it!
