That is the idea. i'm looking for help though, any suggestions? I would still like to keep a massive amount of the build's composition though.

What you're doing in that bottom build is, you're losing out on a lot of the stat values from Frozen heart. The 500 mana isn't really benefiting you any more because you already have so much.
It's better to get something like warmogs to improve your passive and your ability to live in general.

And you probably need some mpen in some form or another if you want to keep up with killing squishies. The build looks like you coulnd't get blue buff at all, TotG is about enough mana/mana reg to keep up and if you still lack it you can consider early Chalice. Mind also that going early mana-CDR combo (boots, Glacial Shroud,TotG) would hurt your dps midgame.

Zhonya's Hourglass would be a better defensive item than Frozen Heart.

Both builds focus heavily on having tons of mana, just in case blue buff is not in your hands. What do you guys have in mind?
