-Ward the map
-Know the Jungler, know the time it takes for them to clear each camp, etc. This will enable you to gank them.
-Don't overextend without ward vision/map awareness
-Gank the jungler. You shouldn't allow anyone to free farm, this goes for jungling as well.
-Play/Have a Jungler. I think its almost mandatory to be honest in higher levels of play. Its is such an advantage to have two solo lanes and a jungler who can keep up with the solo lanes/gank at will. Element of surprise!

Special thanks to Xiaowiriamu for the banner!

I don't want to brag I just want to point out that I played in the beta and now play with a pretty nice team. I understand warding and lane control and farming and map awarness ect. ect.

Sadly though a jungler has thrown a kink in our plans. Mid game sees our mid murdered and everyone huddling around towers as the gold fueled and experience heavy opposing team kills us and blows up towers at their leisure.

So, I ask how does one counter jungle?

-Please note: Do not post the following,

1. You Jungle!
2. You ward! (do post locations though)
3. You don't suck!

Now having stood on my podium i expect you to not follow the above note and post just that, followed by the word first and then possible a post that says nothing but balls over and over again

GO!

well since the patch solo dont get alot more exp then duo maybe one lvl higher or something. So it isent that much of a problem anymore

Count their minion kills, or get to know junglers usual rutine and gank them at the Lizard.

Basic warding helps you futher in the game, later on just keep an eye on the Dragon and as usual Baron Nashor.
I'm jungling myself and warding is one of the big expenses I'm trying to cover ^ ^,

Been working on Leaguecraft for a while, I'll post my Trundle guide 20 December 2010.

You wanted an Image, right? You could ward the buffs as well, as if you'd reach them in time.

A thing that's could be annoying for the ennemy jungler is to not destroy completly the camps on his side.
For exemple if you gank at blue and he doesn't come, or if it's safe after kill him, kill the golem but let's the 2 little lezards alife. Seem to be a lack of Po and Xp but in reality you earn time on Golem come back since you must clear a camp for all the monsters return.

@DEWO:
Ganking Blue Buff won't work against an equally well communicating team.
They'll have 2~3 people stationed ahead of you on the river, watching for any of you coming. You'll get killed yourself, and lose first blood. :P
Don't you think the enemy will know the Smite tips you off about where the jungler will be? The Smite tip-off can be equally used by the team to cause an early game team fight in their favour.

@Alahric:
Jungler minion count can no longer be observed since the last patch. :P
You have to see enemies before their count gets updated on the score table.

There's no real way to counter a good team with a jungler without your own jungler, that's the point of jungling.
Only thing that can really help if ganking at level1 fails is to put pressure on the top solo.
Have your top laners zone him/her out by letting the enemy wave push a bit, only start last-hitting after the 2nd wave, and really putting harass pressure on him. If you cut them off from exp, then you can negate the benefits of the jungler.
