Sivir is a counter to graves. Spellshield his burst a pop q. You won the trade and almost didn't lose any mana!

Wild Graves appears dashing.
Sivir uses bubble.
Graves uses Smokescreen to pop the bubble. It's super effective!

In my experience, vayne and ali have a ton of trouble against graves raka. Graves is a pretty hard counter to Vayne in lane and she's so weak early whereas he's so strong. Although it may just be that I suck at vayne (played like 30 games as her and just can't get the hang of her).
I like the sivir idea! Paired with taric I figured you could literally 100%-0% soraka in 1 stun combo.
Caitlyn could do well against Graves because of her advantage in terms of range, but at the same time Soraka is a very good support against carries/supports that have poke like Cait, so it's not the best choice imo.
Great picks against Soraka are Miss Fortune and Tristana, because they have a healing reduction and also deal a lot of magic damage through their abilities which is great since Soraka's Astral Blessing gives such a strong armor buff. Their early game damage is also high, so I'd definitely go for one of those two.
As for supports, I think Taric is a great choice since his laning is just so strong and he has heals too. Alistar is ok but his W-Q combo can be interrupted by Soraka's silence so that's something to watch out for. The same goes for a really aggressive lane with Leona and her E-Q combo.
Finally, another aggressive choice for a "kill lane" would be Blitzcrank. If you manage to land his grab a couple of times and deal some good damage, Soraka really shouldn't be able to keep her carry / herself alive. If you are going to run a lane with a support without heals, however, make sure you don't get poked too much and don't just trade damage with them, since Soraka will heal her carry back up to full health while your support won't.
tl;dr
Suggested lanes: Taric + Miss Fortune / Blitzcrank + Tristana

Adding on to that, if you can bait the heal out, just change targets.
20 second CD on a heal is quite long to only work on one target. If Soraka heals herself, she can't protect the carry and vise versa.
Killing one without baiting the heal is the really hard part and you're going to have to invest a lot of resources after Soraka hits six if you really want to kill them and just just waste the ult.

I'm weird in that I like to counterpick supports xD
I find that Nidalee is a pretty good counter. She can easily dish out more damage than Soraka can heal in one go, even with no AP. Taric and Janna are also pretty strong counters to Soraka because they can constantly CC her. Alistar isn't a bad pick, but his CC is all melee range and a Soraka who gets close enough to get hit by that is an idiot. Sona is a strong pick against Soraka because she has lower mana costs and the CDs to heal constantly, whereas Soraka will run out fast if she has to heal a lot and has a long CD on her heal.
Now we get into some of the weirder ones:
Kayle isn't a common pick, but she can push the two around because her Q has such good early game damage. Soraka can heal, sure, but her longer CDs and higher mana costs will make it so Kayle can push Graves around a bit.
Lux and Morgana (not optimal supports, but workable) can both push Graves around pretty well and if played well will run Soraka out of mana pretty constantly trying to keep up with their damage.
Shen (again, better in other roles but workable) will outsustain Soraka easily. Throw a couple Vorpal Blades to keep your carry sustained and because he's a ninja he will pretty much never have to leave because he's "oom".
If I think of anymore I will add them to the post xD

Nunu support works, walk in front of buckshots, iceblast, consume to heal up and bloodboil running

Do you guys have any tips? Should I learn urgot? Does any other AD carry do well (I know cait can do fine but she's just way too easy and boring for me... same reason I don't play graves :))
Thanks for the help,
