Frozen Mallet > Trinity Force on Olaf IMO. Especially if you're going for Atma's.

A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

It's more like veal and wine. So expensive for so little.
Most mages will melt you while you're building up to it too as you have so little resists.
You need some way of getting Movespeed as olaf, trinity force is a great way to get that.
Ty MM and Blood for the sigs :3 | Rammus is comming back - heard it here first!

Depends on the situation IMO, But I'll usually take FM over TF on Olaf.
Olaf doesn't really benefit from attack speed, nor does that extra bit of Sheen proc damage amount to much, FM provides a larger health pool and 100% chance to slow. Combined with Undertow, you will literally never escape Olaf. In truth increasing Olaf's effective health makes him considerably harder to kill.
Olaf does indeed need some speed for chasing, but that can be gained with FoN IF YOU TRULY NEED IT.

TF isn't a bad option, but Olaf's cool downs aren't necessarily short enough to provide a near constant Sheen Proc. Additionally, Olaf's true damage with Reckless Swing is, I feel, his main source of damage/Rather it is the spell you will most certainly ALWAYS use when it is off cool down and someone is in range, meaning auto attacks take a back seat. All in all either option can be used, FM however provides more durability over utility.
