when I play Nida top I just push down the whole lane. Either they give it up to and try competing drag or sth or they come with 3-4 and I escape anyway. Safe drag for my team then tho :)

Nida is all about pushing and ******ed dives at the 1. mid tower. Those ganks are really easy if your first turret is already pushed and you go into mid from behind the tower. (Not against erry champ or course)

From what I've read in this thread - most people that think AD Nidalee isn't as good as other Toplaners have simply never met a really good AD Nida ^^

It's like others here already said - Nidalee being ranged completely destroys many, many toplane bruisers already. Adding to that, that she has insane escape- and chase-potential, tower-pushing-power and snowballs really well in lane makes her fairly strong. Leave her alone for a minute, and your tower is gone.
And... The same principle like in teamfights applies also to the laning phase - poke/harass with auto attacks until you can cougar in and finish the opponent. Fairly often people underestimate the "finishing"-potential of Nidalee.

It's basically like someone already pointed out - You don't necessarily have to be a good teamfight Champion to win games. Trash your lane opponent, possibly counterjungle or simply apply so much pressure to your lane, that more than one enemy has to care about you works fine.

I personally don't play AD Nidalee, but I already experienced some really strong ones which I have not been able to shut down at all.

Old squishy AP Nida build. With the changes on Heal and the top meta going RoA on Nida is much better atm :x

Cooper56 actually said in a post earlier on this thread that he would like to see my Nidalee guide when it's finished. I'm mainly catering to him but feel free to take a look also :D

It's a Nidalee at mid guide. I think Rod of Ages is a pretty garbage item and there are a number of reasons why people build it, specifically in the top lane. The first and probably main reason people get RoA on Nidalee, is because they don't expect to receive a blue buff. It offers a decent amount of sustain to get them by. Furthermore, playing against bruisers, it isn't a bad option because of the health, but it really doesn't provide much of a defense against mid champions with great damage or burst. And really it comes down to how effective it is as an item. While it provides 80 AP, 630 HP, and 725 mana, you're paying ~3050 gold for essentially health and AP. Mana is nice, but it doesn't actually increase your combat effectiveness and neither does the passive from Catalyst the Protector.

What I'm trying to say is with the availability of blue buff to mid lane champions, you don't really need Catalyst the Protector which is the main reason you would probably buy it. And why not use that gold to effective item stats. You can pay 3100 for Zhonya's Hourglass or only 2650 for Abyssal Mask and actually get useful stats to mitigate damage rather than just absorb it. And if you do really want the health if your playing against a champion with true damage like Olaf or Ahri or even Veigar i guess; why not just build Rylai's Crystal Scepter which provides as much AP and health plus a decent active for about the same amount of gold.
