Well the best way to learn about designing games is playing games, and see how they did it ;D
And you made an excellent choice picking League of Legends, it is a really fun game, especially if you play it with friends.
I will probably study to become a games programmer, and since I am Dutch too who knows if we will run into each other one day :p

Haha, thanks for the already helpful responses everyone! I've only played with friends against bots or against other friends thus far. Mostly because I don't want to make online people angry with my noobishness and also because I'm the least competitive player ever and I've seen that people online take this game extremely seriously.
@Icecreamy, always awesome to see another Dutchie! And one that is interested in developing games as well to boot! I'm planning on staying in the UK for a looooong time to come but the game industry is still a pretty small world so we might run into eachother one day haha
