And unless you're rich it's not economically viable to make a table out of gorilla glass.
I know, but it would be awesome.
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

Temperature causes materials to expand. When glass expands it'll start deforming, usually unevenly, which will cause a tension inside the glass because it's expanding at different speeds.
Btw, are glass tables supposed to shatter like that? Why aren't they made like windshields? They should have that plastic layer..

Actually ordered a new table a week before this happened, lol. And I got it from my aunt, so heh. Money saved!
And what kind of table are you getting this time around? Man I feel bad for all your devices and stuff. That is just pure pain in my eyes.

My mind is already boggled at the fact that you held THAT much stuff on a GLASS table...
Some part of me feels really sorry for you, and another part of me feels like you kind of had that coming to you.
Hopefully all things that stopped working are either working again or are replaced. Must've costed quite a lot to repair that...
