Fast terrain gives you this horribly ugly 2D terrain with an annoying camera angle that is pretty much straight up. You're also a tad bit more zoomed in when using it. It's awful imo and should only be used by those with extremely bad computers that can't seem to handle "modern" 3D environments.

Well I didn't play on Fast Terrain for the performance improvement.
Only 2% of the LoL community played on Fast terrain, all are complaining, most have quit in general though >_>. That's how bad it is....its just too hard to adjust. I guess this 'move' by Riot is like removing Camera lock.
Although more people use camera lock, its the same effect. Many will find it just impossible to adjust.
@Canoas Ha, I havn't played Softcore in ages, I sold all my equip for the equivalent of $180.
Just playing hardcore now, so the repair increase doesn't really affect me. ^_^ but gaining money isn't so difficult. Just farm Act 1. and Sell every rare/magical drop to NPC. You'll make 300k an hour. and Act 1 isn't that hard on inferno so you won't die much.

I used to farm act 1 and it sucked. I was farming act 3 pre-patch but now it's impossible, I lose more gold than I get and siegebreaker now has reflect dmg so.. = /

Not sure how much my equip was worth. I know my boots were 2mil. Had a 1071 dps 1 handed sword with 445 life per hit. and yes it was after the 15% cut. Yeah act 3 are better drops, but act 1 = easier, safer, and faster and also the items you sell to npc are same price as act 3 just bad stats. just farm farm farm till you get a lot of gold then buy a decent weapon. Or play hardcore....much better xD!

Hmm.. I still never made so much gold in act 1 runs. My warden+butcher runs would take at least 30 minutes and it wasn't that much profitable.
Well, at least there's a bug where we can turn in the zoltun kulle quest unlimited times now. It used to be just 3 times, now it's infinite. I guess it's time to power level everything to 60 = D

I come back after 2 months of not playing LoL...and I thought something was fishy when I was playing, my eyes couldn't adapt to this new angle...
I forgot what the video settings previously looked like, and thus so forgot what i was looking for in order to achieve the angle i was used. After little research I found that the thing missing was Fast Terrain, now i dunno why this was removed, i heard because of the new "updates to graphics" but... I find it really difficult to play now.
After 1,500 games with it being on, adapting to the new outlook feels near impossible.
Anyone else used Fast terrain and felt the same? :S
Guess its back to Diablo 3. Can't play it anymore, my eyes simply cannot adapt ! :D
