I am reading all these responses that revolve around hard counters and use of abilities to get away. But the fact remains that Rocket Grab DOES stun, and the immediate knock up and silence delay the use of your abilities even further making your escape impossible and in the team fight stage of the game, you're dead by the time the CC wears off, regardless of how the laning phase went for blitz. He can grab from weird angles in the jungle and force a 5v1 on anyone at almost any time. I feel that Blitz is always a strong pick no matter what the opposition already has picked.

blitz is definetely a great support his crank can really be game changing and he has a lot of utility in teamfights with an aoe silence and a knockup. Laning against a good one can really make your life hard and personnaly I hate when it happens( I always goes full ****** against blitz and end up being grabbed all the time0.

Blitz is always a hard one to deal with, just move a lot and stay behind minions. The thing I have seen the most with Blitz is they are only op if they can make their grabs, just know the range on it, and there are a lot of ways out of it, what champ were you playing as? because Flash is always a good pick if you don't have any escapes like Ahri Spirit Rush or Nidalee Pounce etc
