Everyone has so many varying opinions, most of them seem to be wrong though huehuehue
-Gragas is not FoTM
-Gragas is very strong
-Gragas works exceptionally well even against highly organized/ skilled teams.
-Gragas is a disruptor, landing his ult is not really difficult.
He is bursty/bulky/high base damages/sustainable. He has his counters, but for the most part he is a very strong pick. Always has been. People just don't understand how to use his full potential sometimes which leads them to believe he is "not viable". Even though watching tournament play you see how potent he can be.

He's always been played a lot in competitive, he's got loads of burst, great mobility and great utility plus his harder counters are not really viable in competitive play, wich makes him a very strong pick
He's an incredibly safe pick in my opinion, his laning is incredibly strong whilst being near on ungankable if played by anyone reasonably competent, his awesome ratios allow him to scale nicely throughout the entire game and that combined with naturally tankiness, awesome mobility and a game winning ult makes him a very, very strong pick
People seem to defend this by saying his ult can mess your team up, well yes it can very occasionally but its no Cataclysm, if you can hit a handful of people with it regardless of where they end up the damage is usually worth banging it down for

I'd think he would be pretty hard to play late game, even with those ridiculous AP ratios. I mean, how often do you see a Gragas hit a Q on someone who is paying attention to him late game? It's mostly his ridiculous ult.
Yeah, I'd say he's pretty strong in the right hands :3

Yes, pros can hit it because they spend countless hours and days practicing. League of Legends is their life. I'm saying that Gragas's
Barrel Roll has a very slow projectile speed, so it's not that hard to dodge with tier 2 boots. Of course, if you practiced Gragas for countless hours and days, then I would expect you to hit your Q's.

I don't know why people stopped playing him, maybe because Shushei failed many times with him aswell.
