Wow thanks Xai... this should help a lot of people! :) I hope it gets stickied. I personally use my deviantart since I happen to have one, and it doesn't have a bandwidth limit. I could probably make a guide for that too, but I hope people wouldn't COMPLETELY use up deviantarts good will as an imagedump. I actually have my art on there too. :)
Great idea Xai, keep up the good work!

I also hope people won't just create a photo dump at DA. They is good peoples.
Personally for quick images I use photobucket but that requires making an account which is farther than most people are willing to go for these days. Althougha tthe same time I'm thinking of using imagur or something else to screen shot dump.

Thanks guys! I just wanted to make this so I can redirect the hundreds of people that always ask "HOW DO I INSERT IMAGES! D:". Hopefully, this very step-by-step guide can help people nowadays : P.
I know some of you have said this already, but I don't direct people to DA because it's such a nice site, and I don't like it being used for a file dump. Also, Photobucket w/o Premium runs out of bandwidth.

Great guide, +1
But anyways, an alternative to copying the forum code is to go to the picture's link, right-clicking on the picture and hitting "copy image URL", and then pasting that into the image BBCode on this site.
That's the method I use, it requires doing more within photobucket but it requires less text deletion.
Oh btw I just noticed you're a veteran Xai, congrats on that

You need to log in before commenting.
Step One: Go to imageshack.com and hit browse.
Step Two: Choose your file. For example, I will pick 'Guide 1'. Hit Open.
Step Three: Hit Upload Now.
Step Four: Copy and Paste the Forum Code.
Step Five: Paste the code into the subject field. Delete the upper and bottom url part unless you want others to be able to go to the link of your image. Also, delete the bottom, "uploaded with imageshack part" unless you want others to know that bit of information.
Step Six:Hit Post Reply. Voila!
