are you putting your OS on the SSD? because that's a big difference.
i have a 128 GB ssd with my OS installed on it, along with LoL, SCII, xsplit and chrome, as well as some other small stuff (drivers, java, etc) and I have 40 gigs to spare. I had to take steam off of it because it just too up too much space. I would say that if you want to put all your games on it then you should definitely go with 256.

^basically that except get a 128 for you searz
you have like 200 steam games which wouldn't be able to fit on your ssd, and you can't split steam games on multiple drives (you could try that virtual folder thing that Matt was telling us about a while back, where you install all the games to your HDD and then pull up one on your SSD, but that seems complicated ><)
since you have a lot of steam games, you would put steam on your HDD, and then the 128 left over is more than enough for other stuff. I have, on my SSD, my OS and drivers, League, "vitals" like word, chrome, antivirus, xsplit and other programs, etc, along with guild wars 2, photoshop, and some other games (I think) with 20 gigs left. so ya
You won't be able to really do much past the 128 gigs if you want all your steam games/a lot of them downloaded at once.

Games like LoL are wasted on SSDs. Why? Because the lobby interface loads really quickly and you're limited by the slowest player in the loading screen, and chances are that he's got a much, much slower PC/HDD than you.
I know 100GB is far from enough for all my games, but If I single out the slow-loading games I think I can fit them in ~200GB.
I will probably be using those NTFS symbolic links for that stuff.
Ideally I'd install Steam on the SSD and use the symbolic links to push all the media and games onto my HDD, then redirecting back to the SSD for specific games. Otherwise I'll probably just install it on my HDD and use symbolic links for specific games.

I'm leaning towards the 128GB SSD so far.
My reasoning is that I mainly need it for my OS and a few games.
Prices on SSDs will drop and 256GB will probably be the same price as 128 in a year, and 512 might even possibly be at that price in ~3 years.
When they're that cheap, I think it's a better time to actually buy them at those sizes.

But now comes the hard choice: 128GB or 256GB?
The 128 is slightly more cost effective at about 6% better cost per GB, BUT the 256GB SSD has roughly 20% better write-performance, so I consider that price difference null. (read-performance is most important)
So what matters to me now is what you people that already are using an SSD think; how useful is it to have more than 128GB?
How awesome is it to have your games on an SSD, how many games can you fit and does enough games fit?
