That Trev Person:
Thanks for the upvote and advice! I take Trinity Force early simply because the movement speed is very helpful and also by the time I finish it, laning phase has about ended anyway. I think that this is a bit of an iffy for some players so I guess I will try explain it better and provide substitutes. As I had replied to throatslasher before I will redo my masteries/runes section.

Quoted:
- Consider starting Boots of Speed and three health potions. It's far superior for ganking, invading, and clear times. The meta has lately been shifting to almost all junglers starting this way to keep pace with each other. Maybe your current runes/masteries don't allow for it, which is why you may not have, but shifting some points in defense and getting the attack speed runes will GREATLY help that

You are quite right, but the reason I take ppcloth armor]] and 5x Health Potions is not just for survival, but it means I can stay at a constant high HP as well as get more chances for ganks in before my first B back to base. But sometimes if I think I can gank quite effectively I do take Boots, and it is already provided as an alternative in my Items section. Thanks a lot for your help! :)

I hate your runes. You shouldn't necessarily be going for dps. Consider 8 attack speed marks, 1 armor pen mark, and armor pen quints. Xin highly benefits from attack speed.

I did take Armor Penetration quints. Why 8 attack speed marks and 1 armor penetration mark? is there a reason for that? But yeah I do understand, personally I find strength marks atm more useful than arm pen early game because it allows you to snowball.

I REALLY hate that you max q 1st. The higher level your audacious charge is, the better your ganks. It scales the best out of all your abilites, and can even be used in the jungle to aoe camps. Maxing audacious charge is the best route for xin. Increasing the slow % is also really important.

I understand that too, but i think that damage from Three Talon Strike is far too important to be sacrificed. Maxing Audacious Charge means that you only have 1 magic damage 'nuke'. The AOE damage from it is not exactly big, using Three Talon Strike on minions would not be much slower than Audacious Charge. In a fight, after you blow the E, your Q would simply deal too little damage to the opponent and more often than not you would just push the enemy back each time. Don't forget that Three Talon Strike's knockup is a key part of your gank, and that a low level Audacious Charge, red buff, phage and knockup is usually quite enough.

Throatslasher:
Thanks for your comments
About the Trinity Force, I understand it is expensive, but personally I do find its stats are very useful for Xin throughout the game. The top rated guide for Xin uses it also, but I guess I will put in some substitute items into the guide.
Warmogs is quite an underrated item on xin. If you compare it to the likes of Frozen Mallet, it is quite an acceptable substitute considering it gives you far more HP for a cheaper price, sacrificing only the slow and 20 AD (the surefire slow isn't so necessary if Trinity Force is built)
And for the masteries, I agree that mine is far from the best. But I simply find that the full damage tree is more valuable than a full defense tree. I will redo that section shortly.

+1 but a few constructive criticisms
- I agree with Trinity Force not being that great of an item on Xin Zhao. At first it seems like it adds a lot in terms of damage and utility, but the Frozen Mallet is a far better pick-up for junglers most of the time. A guarenteed slow is very valuable mid-game (since you won't have it early game, and that's what red buff is for during that time period anyway).
- Definitely get Greater Mark of Attack Speeds; between 6 and 9 depending on what you have, and the rest being Armor Penetration, including Quints.
- Masteries 21/0/9 are inefficient, especially considering you're building as an off-tank to take damage. Consider these: 9/21/0 or 9/12/9 or if you really want to keep 21 in offense then 21/9/0 would be better if you could deal with loss of extended buff period.
- I understand that your guide is in progress, but I'd priotize these sections: Jungle Route/Jungling, Teamfighting (positioning and targeting for instance), and Ganking.
- Consider starting Boots and three Health Potion. It's far superior for ganking, invading, and clear times. The meta has lately been shifting to almost all junglers starting this way to keep pace with each other. Maybe your current runes/masteries don't allow for it, which is why you may not have, but shifting some points in defense and getting the attack speed runes will GREATLY help that.

Other than those criticisms, your guide is very nice from an anesthetic point of view, and you have one of the better builds for a jungle Xin Zhao at the moment on this sight. I hope to see this build completed in the future :D

-1 for quite a few reasons.
1. I can't get behind tri-force on xin. It's terrible, and way too expensive.
2. I hate warmogs on xin.
3. I cannot fathom why you are going 21/0/9 on a bruiser like Xin. Mid-late game, you're more of a damage soak than a damage dealer. I play a LOT of jungle xin, and can tell you that the best masteries I've found on ad bruisers like him and shyvana are 9/12/9. You don't want to charge into their team and be a piece of paper and die instantly.
4. I hate your runes. You shouldn't necessarily be going for dps. Consider 8 attack speed marks, 1 armor pen mark, and armor pen quints. Xin highly benefits from attack speed.
5. I REALLY hate that you max q 1st. The higher level your audacious charge is, the better your ganks. It scales the best out of all your abilites, and can even be used in the jungle to aoe camps. Maxing audacious charge is the best route for xin. Increasing the slow % is also really important.

That's about it. I dont' like to downvote and not say why.
