Not as long or detailed as some guides out there, but then again it doesn't need to be. It's straight to the point (appropriate considering the champion...)

Great guide +1

Unless there is some other player insist wants to take over mid, or else mid is always my 1st choice. Fiora is a good 1 vs 1 champion. xD
I am totally agree with you about the skills learning sequence.

Lunge is very important in fighting against range attacker.
As long as Fiora is still fighting at mid, Lunge is always the primary learning skill.

If the mid front turret is destroyed, Fiora will no longer stick to mid.
By that time, the continuous learning of Lunge will stop.
I will start to learn Riposte and Burst of Speed.

Hey, so I like to play Fiora a lot, and I noticed your skill order and your explanation of the skills. I've got to say, you're way off about lunge. Lunge is a skill that is good for its effect rather than its damage, and since its effect isn't boosted by leveling and the damage boost is fairly insignificant for what you're getting. I think one point should be taken in lunge very early on (1st level for laners, 3rd for junglers), and then it should be left at that till the other skills are maxed.

You're more then happy to disagree but I've already explained why this is incorrect unless you are in a situation where you can say you're standing still and fighting 1v1 for extended periods which will not happen often. Pros like Chauster and Jatt have said multiple times on their streams that people undervalue lunge and level skill incorrectly and this is a huge part of the reason Fiora has such a bad stigma. Because they level incorrectly they waste potential and make the already niche pick look underpowered.

If you can explain why having a lower CD and more dps on your only escape (Besides flash/ghost) ,gap closer, AND burst I am more then willing to reconsider my stance on the subject.

Please go more in depth on the bruiser match up since it is a lot more common right now, otherwise a decent guide. Wish there were more resources to compare it to though.

Currently testing: New Masteries, Blade of the Ruined King, Black Cleaver, Ravenous Hydra, Zephyr, Statikk Shiv and taking another look at builds that use crit. Changed build order on existing items after buffs and nerfs for now as a hold over. Also changed masteries to reflect this but is subject to change.

So no reason then? Nothing to improve on or that you don't understand?

EDIT: Let me know if anyone would like some commentary on a game. I would be happy to provide if some learn better that way.

There are two things that I think you need to add/change;
First of all, you buy MR items but you can face an AD in mid lane. So I think you should make 2 builds- against AP, against AD;
Second of all, your warding map isn't very good since you just say "ward those spots". I will give something 2000 gold for it. Just put something like:
Blue spots - Spots that must always be warded
Red spots - Spots that you need to ward to prevent your enemies get Baron Nashoor or Dragon.
Yellow spots - Spots you need to counter-jungle.

Good guide but still needs a little bit of improving.

I'll update the map this weekend, should only take a little bit.
I normally save Fiora as a 5th pick when I know who the mid is and do not pick it vs normal AD mids like Talon or Pantheon because those are not stellar match ups in general.

EDIT: I'll go more in depth about the AD mid match up though after I update the map.
EDIT: Updated map, I'll write up about the AD match up as soon as a get some free time.
