Kayle does pretty decently against Yorick, just harass him as much as possible with Q-E, and if he tries anything funny (like actually dueling you) you can kite him around easily, even in worst case scenario you have your ultimate " I will not die" shield. Irelia can win the lane, get Boots + 4 Pots or Doran's, max W first and take ignite as your summoner spell, your sustain should be enough to stay in lane, and after six you can duel him, just don't forget to use ignite when he casts the life steal ghoul so as to deny his sustain, and use your own ultimate a around 50% health, the sudden burst can sometimes push him to try and run away, after which a simple E-W-Q when he gets away combo can kill him.
My friend just played against top vs a Yorick as Trundle and ended 14/5 or something. He told me afterwards he thinks Trundle is a counter to Yorick. In his next game his top was Renekton against Yorick, and Renekton was crushing him. I don't know whether either of them are actual counters to Yorick, but if in the last 2 games I just mentioned ( which were ranked ) Trundle and Renekton did so well, it should at LEAST be considered a skill match-up with them, rather than Yorick crushing them no matter how good they are like he usually does against other champions.
