Some nice styling and everything is linked properly.
Even if I like things like Spaceholders to seperate stuff and more pics some fanart to make people giving a little "break" when reading the guide.
I love videos too they just explain most things better than words can tho sometimes.
But upvoted the guide. Nice and easy.
Edit: ok I can't upvote cuz the hero is released too soon...meh....why can some ppl still upvote that tho...mods maybe?
I can imagine that at ARAM evolving spikes is pretty awesome. But I think it's just awesome to have percentage dmg in the lategame.
The dmg bonus is just not that good early game.
Aswell look at the cooldowns of both skills. the q got like half the cooldown.
so lets say normal ap chars will have about 2500 health with rod of ages and about 3000 with rod and rylais scepter. The fact you can use it twice is awesome.
12% of 2500 are 300 * 2 = 600 dmg
12% of 3000 are 360 * 2 = 720 dmg
minus the def of enemys.
what about the spikes now?
well let's see you get on avarage to hit 2 spikes with it...not the same target but let's say 2 of them hit different enemys.
the normal hit is worse than the Q no doubt bout that fact. So the "extra" dmg would be the second hitting spike. Which is around 500-600 I think. Minus the def counted for that enemy you hit.
Plus the fact that you could possibly even dodge those spikes.
I mostly hear the assumption "you can clear a whole moblane with it!"
lemme tell that even a normal spike does aoe dmg but just imagine where you have to position yourself to hit all enemys with that.
If you are staying infront of the lane you will just hit the melee mobs and miss the ranged opposide ways with the backside.
If you are staying on the side you are very unpositioned and just hit some of the ranged and melee maybe 4/6 of them in most cases.
No doubt that it is more usefull than the Q here.
BUT what do you want...killing faster and more creeps or burst the carry down?
just the Q without evolving does around the same dmg as hitting with 2 spikes at the same enemy.
mentioned here is the scaling of spikes with 0.9 and the scaling of the weak Q with 1.6.
it's nearly the double.
If you choose as the third evolution you have some decent ad I suppose so the 45 dmg difference of the spikes 90 dmg of 2 hitting spikes arent as good as a 0.7 scale.
that's just my conclusion of that....
I should mention that I go very squishy with khazix and even go with 2 bloodthirster at the very very end of my build.
I just love soloing baron tho xD
first off:
evolved claws grant you more auto atk range which isnt that bad for laning.
the extra dmg you get of it is done even if the enemy is not isolated.
The isolated extra dmg is done even if you don't evolve claws btw.
what I don't like about void spike evolving:
if you fight against one char that evolution is completley useless.
Now you may think "man i can slow him from distance!"
You got a leap...use that **** to close the gaps if you chase down enemys.
Jungling using spike evolution is completley useless if you choose to rank it up last.
Your auto atks are better than void spike at lvl 16 and the heal of it...you got vamp.
very late game dmg the voidspike dotn scales with the normal ad and will be not that good anymore you may want to spamm it as much as possible but auto atks will be stronger but the little heal may come in handy with some dmg.
in the lategame...what do you think is more suefull....percentage dmg...or your passive dmg used on range?
kha'zix can even be strong against a tanky char which is definitely needet with him...you cant be very effective against champs who got even more sustain and def. You really pray for those 12% to have in the lategame.
What solves all the problems? Have a rengar in the enemy team....then you have 4 evolvings.
Second, you should definately push for a
Finally, not too shabby of a build overall, you definately get a vote up from me. nice work.
