Greatest Book?

[/quote] The bible actually has very little content where it explicitly explains guidelines for a religion. If you're saying that the bible is a bad book because it is a book of guidelines, then Art of War, Animal Farm, any book about future society, or anything with morals in it at all shouldn't be brought up in this thread. Bible, literally means BOOK. The bible isn't a story, it's a collection of stories with many different authors. Now, saying it is the basis of all literature is a bit naive, but it is by no means a poor example of literature.[/quote]

For personal reference I'm rather mainstream I guess, Dan Brown for example has some nice depth and still maintains entertainment to keep me reading.
