To correct that, 10% of players admit they're girls. The rest don't want to be known, its a lot easier to be taken as some fat, ugly guy. The abuse is far less.
I don't get it though, seriously. People wonder why not many girl gamers talk, then turn around and instantly shout a ton of abuse at them. Do they think they're exerting their manliness or something? I sure as hell wouldn't want to cop that ****, and I doubt any of them would either.
Oh, and don't get me started on those girl gamers who go around shouting what they are, and spend more time getting hit on then actually playing. I can't even play in the same game as them, oh god do they annoy me.

But yeah, I'd say it would be more accurate to about 25-30% of LoL players are girl. Which is actually quite small, and its because of how bad the community has become. Girls are a lot more sensitive to those kinda things then guys, and not because they're more "flimsy" as people say (I hope they get beat up <.<). In fact, we're a lot more flimsy then them. I mean, we're the ones that react to all the taunts and insults. Digressing again >.< but yeah, that's all I have to say. What did I say actually...

I only say I'm a girl when someone on the enemy team is like, "Ooooh, [support player] is gay for [adc]."
And I'm like, "I'm female."
That either shuts them up, or then they say something like, "No wonder you're such a bad player!" except it normally looks something like this, "lolnoob u r so bad 0/3/5 taric uninstall;;"
