Khazem's Season 3 stuff

Overall, we were in pretty decent shape by mid lane but we just played the teamfights badly as a team and ended up losing this game slowly but surely. Eventually the enemy Vayne went godmode and there was nothing we could do to stop her. Game 2. Not much to say about this game... Our mid was stomping, our bottom lane was stomping and their Darius top was unable to stay in lane against me. Quick win. Game 3. Laning against Irelia. I took an early advantage on her when Amumu came to gank but I managed to take down Irelia because she was already low and she was taking a lot of minion damage. I turned on Amumu and nearly got him as well but he ended up flashing away. Mid lane wasn't going very well. The enemy Mordekaiser was outfarming our Cho'Gath by a lot, despite a few deaths. Bottom lane got stomped pretty bad. Enemy Ezreal was 6-1 at 15 minutes and it looked pretty bad. Because I was doing so well top lane, I decided to push down my tower and take my advantage to other lanes. I got a quick kill on Mordekaiser and we secured the first dragon of the game. From there we just played better as a team. We stuck together and picked good fights. At this point, Irelia was still trying to catch up while I was extremely tanky. I could pretty much jump in on their entire team, rip Ezreal apart and come out without even losing my GA. I felt like I carried this game pretty hard. Unkillable Elise OP. Again, our bottom lane was getting wrecked pretty hard but me and Zyra kept morale high as we both stomped our lanes. At one point, our bottom lane was forced out of lane and the enemy team engaged on Dragon as 5. I was still top and our jungler had recalled as well. I'm not quite sure what happened, but Zyra managed to steal dragon and get 3 kills on her own. Definitely one of the most impressive plays I've seen so far. In teamfights, I was too tanky for the enemy team to deal with as I quickly gathered a huge amount of armor to negate the fed Graves' damage. While I was tanking them, Zyra was completely wrecking them with really well placed ultimates. I played a nearly flawless game (except from my cs'ing) and we ended up stomping them, despite the really fed Graves. This Zyra really impressed me this game, definitely the best Zyra player I've seen so far.[/quote]

[quote=Khazem]It depends. Haunting guise is pretty good on her in pretty much any situation. When laning against AP, I found rushing a Chalice to be pretty strong. When laning against an AD I get either Frozen Heart (if I want to be more involved in teamfights etc) or Sunfire Cape (if I want to stay top more and 1v1 the top lane) After that I pretty much always get Abyssal for MR and Rylai's for health and GA to finish the build off I also heard about Shurelya's on her, but I need to experiment with that a bit more. While the CDR and speed boost are really good on her, having to build an early philo stone kind of hurts your lane pressence. But if you can afford it, it's a very good item as well.[/quote]

From my limited perspective (not even gold ELO) she seems like a strong pick. Decent poke and CC, couple that with her burst potential with a little AP she's capable of being a top pick. But I haven't seen her against more than a few match ups.[/quote]
