I still like PD better in general but Shiv is pretty funny on Ez, especially if you finish it in lane. If you go BT + Shiv you can take practically half a carry's health with one Q, it's almost impossible to lane against.

Better farming/pushing power
The magic damage can crit which deals quite a bit of damage. It can crit even harder with Infinity Edge.
It's stat are roughly the same as Phantom Dancer and Statikk Shiv costs less.
In general, I prefer Statikk Shiv over Phantom Dancer.
