I wonder what the next change to the damage vs survivability metrics will be. Will we see an increase to health cost? An across the board reduction in defensive value penetration/reduction?

I dunno.
Riot is all about "S3 isn't far anymore!!!" but knowing them the odds are for it to be a cheap trick to keep the folks in line.


The whole resistance nerf is a ****ed up idea anyway...
bruisers just go full dmg and stack HP, while most mages are ****ed against assassines.

If they simply introduce more % HP dmg items it would become even more ridiculous.
Not to mention how many items would sink into insignificance.

It seems like they're trying to release some new (prestage)def items, nerf some DDs/items to revert what they ****ed up...

But oh well, I wouldn't be surprised that somewhere in the next weeks/1-2months they realize that they can't fix a near fair balance into league again and while running out of time to start S3, they're going to revert half of the changes.

Yeah it is kinda annoying seeing this item on some ADCs, it's like people are just going along with the trend. I think it's fine on more tanky champions or melee ADCs. I don't use this item a lot, but I used it on Elise a few times and it's good for her for obvious reasons.


I wonder how well this item works on Fiora considering her playstyle may benefit from it.

Keep it up this has been one of my fav items since S2 <3 and ya this opens paths for the Glass Cannons to not die so easily, maybe they shud make warmogs with stacks again or buff back some abilities that were based on enemies max health...*cough* Agony's Embrace*cough*

There is already a nerf incoming which increases the cost of Warmog's Armor by a Rejuvenation Bead

Which is weird, because I don't recall seeing Kog'Maw being used as much on the pro scene these days...

(Which assumes that pro players know what they're doing...)

Kog may be able to shred HP like crazy, but the meta is too heavy on assassins right now, especially ones that build Warmog's and therefore take more than a half second to kill. Because he lacks escapes, he's too hard to protect to make him terribly viable.

the main difference ragarding S2/S3 is that I, a tank main, don't feel i can be as balsy, since building resists and HP gives you fairly nothing.
