Nighthawk, thanks for your feedback. Yes, others were critical of my past posts -- the LoL community is very expressive. We are not trying to sell anything, but merely testing if there is interest in building a community around people who want to share info about in-game sales and specials.
why would you build a community around something the game already offers? the mobafire community works because its around guides which is something the game already doesnt offer, the game already tells you sales and limited edition skins before they happen anyways so your website is pointless except on that rare rare rare case when someone just so happens to not be able to get on LoL at all and is really desperate to find out what skins and champions are on sale, so im sorry to break it to you but your website/community isnt going to be that great

The more important point is, why do you need to be notified by a third party website that offers nothing else?
Sure we have the sales available here, but we also offer guides and forums and an... interesting community.
Your site just shows what you can already find out by opening a client. If you don't care about the game enough to open the client every now and then, you probably won't care about the sale at all either.
EDIT: Moot point. Dill said everything.

We call ourselves Gifts for Gamers - since we are offering the gift of time sensitive information.
We thought the MobaFire community may be interested in this info as well. We are tracking our progress here: <Link removed by moderator>
