At first glance, this isn't bad. I hope.
Then I see your items and cluttered cheat sheet -__-
For starters, organize it better.
Let's see, for the runes I really don't think MS quints are good for top lane, I prefer a more offensive early game with AD/Arpen.
And... Greater Seal of Health for TOP LANE? WTF. Good luck surviving at level 1. Armor seals or bust.
Boots start suuuuuuuuuucks
I disagree with Iceborn Gauntlet and Frozen Mallet being core. Why do you need so many slows and sticking power? :l
If an item is 'core', there shouldn't be any alternatives.
IMO Locket of the Iron Solari is a good defensive item too.
Skill Sequence should be E first. If you don't max E first, you won't stick to people (I'm assuming that's why you go both Mallet and Iceborn), and a single Warden's Mail will nullify most of your damage. Also, E gives magic damage, so at least you'll have mixed damage.
Summoner Spells
Teleport/ Exhaust/ Cleanse are worth mentioning.
@ Ghost
Take if you need sticking power
@ Flash
Explain FLASH, not FLASH AND SMITE.
ie "Use this to go over walls and surprise buttsex initiate out of nowhere"
Skill Explanation
Needs more tips and tricks like this:
GOOD.
A tip you should include is Q > Q minion then E > Q for surprise knockup harass :p
Gameplay section is really short, and doesn't fully explain how to play Xin.
Overall, not bad, but not good.
So only section to add would be a counters section. If i see anything tommorow I will add on to this comment.
Also add in alternate runes as there are other viable runes to take as him.
• For laning, health seals are inferior by a lot to armor seals(every time you regain health through pot or passive armor helps more than health
• Add 2 more starts: AD-pot for when you want to all in, full health pots+wards for when you want to sustain against an ap opponent
• Don’t go double doran’s blade, if anything with double doran’s go blade+shield.
• Hydra is a no-no, it’s just plain bad on mr. asian
• Wouldn’t get gauntlet or fro-mal either. You need more tankyness from other items rather than a slow(you already have a slow in E and a knockup in Q, sticking to your targetshouldn’t be a problem
• Last whisper on xin zhao is pretty meeh since first, your passive reduces your targets armor, second you don’t deal 100% physical damage, if you want armor pen, go for tbc and/or yumous
• MS quints aren’t too good on xin, in your situation my rune setup would look like this:
Arpen reds, armor yellows, mr blues, ad quints. This gives optimal damage and trading ability(you want this, rather than a bit of MS)
• Your jungle build is so far off, don’t go for damage on jungle xin, straight up tankyness right from madred’s to your final item(maybe throw in 1 offensive item)
What I’d especially like: a section about how to effectively trade with xin.
Guide isn’t nearly finished but as you said, WIP
I like this guide. Although it's a work in progress, it goes pretty in-depth and explains your reasoning for everything.
Well, I'll probably add loads of information today/tomorrow
Woah gotta try this out, but nice and clean guide, like your items etc. I am not a great Xin Zhao gamer but ill try it out!:D
Better to try, Xin Zhao is pretty damn Op :D
you need a more carry xin in some situations, you cant allways make a half tank xin.
This isn't a reason to downvote. I also said that I build TANKY Xin Zhao. If you want to carry as him, go see other guides
