I tried Support Syndra.

Fun as ****, but unviable.

You just turned something fun as **** but unviable into boring as **** and unviable.

So Sightstone sucks? You are obviously the most appropriate person in the world to write a support guide... also THE WALLZ OF TEXT SUK BRAH

In Leauge of Legends, and most things in life, half ***ing things is not good. You either carry or support your team, not both. Going the middle road is less effective as you don't deal any damage with support items, despite your rune choices. Also, you don't really support your team without wards.

In the land of Yolo-Queue, barley anyone but the support wards. I think you need wards unless you're pre-made or something, and even then, still get Ruby Sightstone because vision is essential. Vision may not give you damage, but as a support, you're not aiming to do damage. You're there to give utility in the form of stuns, and espeically vision. The more vision you have the less your team is caught out.

Think about it. A ward is 75 gold, less if you have a Sightstone or Ruby Sightstone and these items eventually pay themselves off the more you ward.

75 gold to save a teammates life, who is worth 300 gold. I think it is worth it to get wards to stop snowballing the enemy team to victory.

Otherwise, support Syndra is a very interesting concept.

I think I just read that a sightstone is pointless. You do realize that it's unlimited wards, just 3 at a time, right?

Sightstones are great but they only provide a slight amount of health and an additional 3 wards. With a team that knows how to ward properly, I think a sightstone can be neglected here in favor of an item with more useful actives.

Why do you have Hybrid Penetration runes? And why don't you have a sightstone? Other then those two mistakes, its a good idea. Syndra is probably a badass peeler. I suggest viewing the guide on how to make a guide to make yours more aesthetically pleasing.

Just so her damage isn't completely gone. Sightstones are great but they only provide a slight amount of health and an additional 3 wards. With a team that knows how to ward properly, I think a sightstone can be neglected here in favor of an item with more useful actives. I will look for this guide, thanks :)

Well no, it isn't a good idea at all. Unreliable stun, unreliable slow, completely useless ultimate. We already know that regular Syndra has a bad late game right? Well, play her as a support and she becomes a late game pile of useless. And don't even think of mentioning her R+E combo. You might as well play a support who has a REAL AoE ultimate (i.e. Sona).

No, you take Greater Seal of Armor as support. The early game armor is much more effective than the 2.25 gp10. You CAN take gold seals, but it's better to have the armor.
