Why the ACTUAL ****, would my team try to baron when they had a Fiddlesticks + Lee Sin? We had a massive gold advantage and were dominating team-fights, then someone pings baron repeatedly saying THEY CAN'T CONTEST LOL. Can't contest my ****ing ***. Lee Q'd baron through the wall, then jumped in, out-smited it with the same smite damage as our jungler had, their team snowballed and we lost what was an easy win. Because why ****ing pay any attention if the Talon carrying us pings us back and says it's a bad idea. What's the worst that could go wrong?
^ We didn't lose by surrender. They had all 3 inhibitors down at 18 minutes, because Draven dc'd again and didn't reconnect until the nexus was in the process of exploding.
**** me that was a depressing game. It looked like it was going to be the 2nd game in a row lost to someone being DC'd over half the game. Thresh was DC'd for ages, but he only dc'd while he was level 9, so I'd managed to build a considerably large lead over their team for us. It seemed like all my efforts were in vain when they aced us in a team-fight, leaving the team stats 33/29 rather than the 29/16 we'd been at some point.
He reconnected and didn't have any more problems after that though, so we had 1 team-fight which was actually very close, but we won it, we caught out Kat at baron, started baroning, I burst and killed Skarner when he started running towards it while it was low ( he didn't even get in range for smite lol ), and then our lead was too big for them to handle once more.
Also, I was vs Kat, killed her 3 or 4 times before she switched lanes with Vlad, and I didn't even bother trying to whittle down his reasonably large HP bar, I just roamed bot and got them fed.
And I've randomly started gaining more LP than I lose again, rather than winning 2 and losing 4, gg.
