Awesome guide made me main Jarv and also made me better in jungle.
Glad to hear that ^_^
Item's truly can come down to preference, your selection isn't bad - it could just be better. I'm just curious you say you have a lot of success. What level of play does your experience/success come from?
It's not my idea to build these items, or choose the ability selection I have explained. I didn't pioneer it. I've studied numerous guides, been playing ranked with him for around two years, and studied the pro's methods who have excellent success. You're gimping J4 and not maximizing his potential or your teams damage all for an extra 10% attack speed and 10 armor I guarantee you thats hardly noticeable compared to the % Armor Penetration, Damage, Cooldown reduction on your Q it's just a no brainer. But i'm just trying to help you out and others out who may read your guide, that's a huge mistake. If you don't want to take it from me, take it from saintvicious one of the best NA, or even one of the best junglers in the world, but what does he know. I've tried both to be honest, E is definitely safer if you miss your combos and want to rely on the buff it provides, however the burst+damage buff maxing Q first provides if you rarely miss a combo on someone land slides maxing E. Anyway, best of luck to you.

Okay, so I went and tested it, because it might be better than my current setup. Maxing
If you know how to manage your mana properly, this is a pretty great way to level your abilities. However if you're new to

J4 is by far one of my most played in ranked matches.
The fact that you're telling players to Max E first makes me cringe. Your missing out on his bread and butter. Heres my recommendation:
MAX Q FIRST.
MAX Q FIRST.
MAX Q FIRST.
MAX Q FIRST.
and lastly: MAX Q FIRST.
Also a note, with each level of Q its cool down is reduced. E's cooldown is 13 seconds.
Never, ever ever in any situation/circumstance Max E First. Your missing out on a TOOOON of damage for yourself on the team - Q Shreds their armor and just does a lot of frontal burst. And I would almost never build W before level 8. Your ability build should be as Follows: E-Q-Q-E-Q-R-Q-W-Q-E-R-E-E every game. You do not have the early game mana to pull off using W.
Items: I would not recommend Frozen Heart. You don't need 40% CDR thats just silly and over kill. You'll have 30% with Spirit of the Ancient Golem, and Locket+BC. You almost always want to insist on building locket, ask the support to build a frozen heart or something else. Randuins should replace FH for the slow and 500 health. Your build looks like it just needs HP.
In short:
MAX Q first, then E. Get W at earliest level 8. Randuins, not Frozen Heart. Locket of the Iron Solari, almost every game. As a 6th damage item options: Maw of Malmortius/BotRK/Tri-Force.
BotRK/Tri-Force combo'd with his burst kit is insane, Maw of Mal. if theyre AP Heavy.
Ideally:
Golem/Ninja Tabi/Locket or Visage/Randuins/Black Cleaver/Maw of Malmortius
This is the way I play
Also, getting
Having the 40% cooldown reduction is really just a preference, it helps making sure you have your
I've stated in the items section of the guide that I choose certain items mainly because I have a tendency to forget activating certain items. If you noticed, none of my items have an active ability, and instead I chose the lesser version of that particular item to help me have the same effect for my team.

Great guide annunziato, great explanation and awesome in generally...my question is: in your opinion is jarvan good in low-elo solo ranked or he's more useful at high level? (obviously in the role of tank/offtank jungler, I'm looking for another champion, because I've used only jax in ranked) or there are champ more comfortable? (like Zac, volibear, nautilus, champion that i see a lot in this current meta)...
I find that
If you play
If you go into solo queue a lot, then I say that you are in the right area for jungling. Although the hard tank/initiation champions are pretty great, you also have to make sure your team is going to follow through on it, because nothing is worse then getting a perfect
If you do feel the need that you want to have a harder initiate, I would recommend
If you have any other questions, please say so. I am far from the best league player in the world, but I try to help when I can :)
This is a generally good guide, really tanky, but you really alck damage, you can't even 1v1 an adc lategame. He just lifesteals ur tiny damage.
If anybody is able to 1v1 a late game ad carry then I applaud them.
Yeah I played him a few times now and I understand what you mean. I've also accidently trapped teammates trying to save them from being chased as well, other times I've trapped the entire enemy team haha, so it really is quite dangerous.
Yeah, you usually will never hear the end of it if you ever accidentally trap a teammate with you in
