Jungler item on laner = instant -1, no ***** given.
Then again his build has both.
Jungler item on laner.. now where have I heard this before? Blue build ezreal/jayce? Could be viable, haven't tried though.
I will answer your request as soon as i can -> actually i am ingame in a ranked bad luck there^^
Now, ahri is one of my favorite champions to play in League. She is very mobile and her passive is amazing. I always start with dorans ring, as you do I think, and it is probably the best way to start off with ahri. The problem that I continuously run into is that no matter how much I get fed, and I usually get fed due to people now being used to ahri, I can't carry a game with her. The problem that I think ahri has is that she is EXTREMELY single-target based, which is why she does so well in early-mid game. However, her single-target based kit is very hard to use effectively in teamfights where you can only burst one person down at a time. I'm not saying that she doesn't hit other champs in teamfights, because her q,w, and r all hit multiple champs in large fights, but compared to other champions with larger cc abilities, ahri lacks a lot of teamfight power. Grats to Riot for making such a balanced champ.
Now here's how this relates to your guide. When I looked at your comparison to other ahri guides, your defensive items definitely paid off, I can see how hard it would be to kill an ahri with your build. However, the ap damage output was about 100 ap lower than the other guide (I think, please correct me if that is incorrect). So, if I have enough money to buy all these spellvamp items because I am fed, how am I going to carry with less than 500(?) ap? In addition, stacking so much spellvamp is very reliant on using a lot of your abilities to contantly put out damage and take in health. The problem that I see with this is that to spam all these abilities, one would need at least one mana item (like RoA) and blue buff. You do partially account for this by having spectral wraith which grants you both additional spellvamp AND health and mana regen but I'm not sure if this is enough to really supply ahri with enough mana to spam her abilities. Now, this spamming of abilities may not be how you play her and/or I might just be terrible at mana management, but you may want to think about how to account for ahri's reliance on mana. One way you could do this is by replacing liandry's with RoA or maybe even frozen heart. RoA would grant more AP and I think just as much health. Frozen heart, although probably not the best item to get on ahri, could add to your survivability and grant mana AND cd reduction. Just a few things I saw that may keep spellvamp ahri from doing really well in game.
I definitely see the pros and cons of this build and am eager to try it out. It'd be great if anyone could give me some advice on how to carry with ahri since I find it so difficult. Also, JohnCreek, as much as I love your guide, some of the ways you responded to the feedback given was a little harsh. I looked through the comments and some of them were pretty mean but some of the ways you responded to that negative feedback wasn't needed. Great guide though overall, would love to see some additions like matchups and laning tips, wish I could add you but I'm on NA *sad face*. Keep up the great theorycrafting and please respond :).
- NewMeta (p.s. sorry for such a long comment :|)
Very well then, I shall see to this guide not competing with any others.

loooooooooooool
Anyways...
don't include maths in your guide please. It's extremely unpleasant to read... well actually no one reads it but it's annoying to skip. Just delete it OR put it in a spoiler like this
[spoiler=tittle of spoiler]
*your maths*

:3
I'll try this sometime I guess.
