Soraka is supposed to be a safe pick for a farmpls ad carry and she was good at being the ultimate babysitter support but she isn't a good babysitter now anymore. Her kit is basically used to protect her carry but liek if Leona jumps on your carry what are you gonna do? Auto attack her to death? In the current meta she's not a safe pick. As in isn't a support you'd want if you'd like to have your carry be safe. Sona, Lulu etc are much better choices now. The silence is good for engages like Leona's but it'll wear off. I can't understand why you think she counters burst. [/quote] this proves my point lol The way to play Soraka against someone like Leona is to bait her CC. You'd usually want her to land the CC on you, but in the situation that Leona does land CC on your carry instead...you can undo any damage they take very easily if you have any sense of timing at all. When she jumps you, she's effectively given you a free initiate. No, you don't have burst, but if I wanted burst I would play Sona. What you have instead is the pressure to push them back and kill them if they continue to trade. The problem with this is that it requires you to be one step ahead of the enemies constantly. Which is why very few people do it and even less people are actually good at it. :P[/quote]

Differences in playstyle doesn't make a difference. The only difference that matters is the results, and CC supports get Draven more fed coming out of lane than a sustain support. Let me reiterate: All that matters is which support helps draven accomplish what draven is good at in lane. Not playstyle and not safety (unless he is constantly dying which detracts from him roflstomping). Why are you still arguing? You're not right. Soraka does not compliment Draven. EDIT: There is no way in hell soraka can heal the burst from thresh or blitz or leona + Draven. Maybe if she used her ult, her normal heal, and took summoner's heal, but then she'd be at a severe disadvantage and that would already be a won trade by them. Not to mention CC champs have shorter cooldowns on their initiates than soraka has on her heal, so really even if they just force a heal and back off they still won the trade, and they can reinitiate and soraka has nothing but a silence to stop it. Just try and say you're better than them and that's why they aren't winning, or they aren't playing her right and only you know the "secret way" to bait CC (Nice bait there, now I just have to wait and do it again before your heal comes back up).
