I've read all 11 volumes out so far and can guarantee that you will not be disappointed by those 11 volumes.
I obviously don't know how good it will be going forward, but seeing how great it has been so far I doubt the quality will decline.
It's your loss :P
I'm a strong independent black mage who don't need no mana.

Well it had an interesting concept because the humans are so inferior to the giants, BUT NO OUT OF THE ****IN BLUE smthing totally ******ed happens which gives him the ability to kinda fight on par with them(and it's obvious his father messed around) =_=

Dude spoilers.
Things don't exactly get happy after that.

Overall it never gets dull and the story always keeps you guessing what will happen next while being very genuine and still providing plenty of foreshadowing (i.e: you won't get any "***-pulls").

I’m having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. I finished the first season of Nodame Cantabile. It was pretty good, but... A friend of mine also recommended it to me extremely highly, so I expected better of it. Could just be because I watched Toradora! recently, and the romance in both starts out much the same, in terms of gender role tropes. Still, I enjoyed it fairly well, for a 23 episode anime. The movement away from romance plots felt very natural and helped prevent the series from getting stale as it went. Unfortunately, it seems to have been designed from the start to have multiple seasons (perhaps due to source material? I don't tend to research these things), so the ending wasn't anything to write home about.
I've started the second season, too. For taking place in Paris, it immediately strikes me how incredibly Japanese all the European characters are. This is something that always bothers me in anime; few anime are very good at representing non-Japanese characters. It bothered me a bit in the first series, too, with the European characters in that as well, but since it was set in Japan I largely let it slide as a very standard anime failing. The change in setting is what, honestly, makes the cultural failings particularly egregious.
I haven't gotten around to starting any anime this season. Anything I should watch, once I do get started? I'm open to suggestions.

I'm still at episode 13 of Nodame Cantabile but I'll marathon first season right now. Yeah so far so good for me aswell. I wasn't disappointed at all.
The only deception for me was Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Misplaced ******ed fanservice, ****py romance with a weak plot to back it up, and the ending was so cliché It was painful to watch.
The main character is made like, overpowered, who has the power to destroy everything so they leave you with the idea that even if worse comes to worst he'll just obliterate the resistants and run away with his ***** female queen of demons lover who has oversized t*tties just for the fanservice.
I don't know how it got 7.5/10 on myanimelist.
Luckily, Nodame Cantabile S1 is awesome, I'm enjoying it so far, and can't wait to see what would happen in the next seasons.

I'm sure that he was looking for anime released for this season, he has probably watched 99% of this list. Even I have watched all except 6.
